Chakra meditation

The meditation upon chakras is the best way to understand chakras. And to understand your chakras means to understand your self and your different levels of consciousness, as they are different points of awareness.

Take a comfortable position sitting in a lotus pose on the floor or in a meditative asana that you feel comfortable in. You can also use a chair the only important thing is only to keep your back straight.

Take 3 complete yogic breathings.chakraAssessment

  • Bring your awareness to the point where your body is pressing against the floor or chair. Take 3 complete yogic breathings with the awareness in this point.
  • Now bring your awareness on the top of your head. Take three complete yogic breathings with the awareness on this point.
  • Now connect these two points with a golden transparent tube with diameter of 2 centimeters.  This tube should be empty and thin and now with 3 complete breathings move with your consciousness from the point on the top of your head to the point where your press against the floor (chair) back and forth.
  • With the last of the breathing remain with your awareness on the top of the head. The breathing is normal and calm. Remain with your awareness on the to of the head for one or two minutes and see if there are any physical sensations on the top of the head exactly on the point where your awareness is directed.
  • As soon as you feel any kind of physical sensation bring your attention on the point between your eyebrows.  From this point inhale bringing your awareness to the center of the head in the point located in the golden tube. (on the same level, behind the eye brow point) and exhale from the center of the head to the point between the eyebrows. Make 3 complete yogic breathing. After the third breath remain with your awareness on the point between the eyebrows with normal breathing and remain for short time just until you feel any kind of physical sensation on this point.
  • After that move your awareness further down in the middle of the neck just where your throat is. Make three complete breathings with your awareness going back and forth coordinated with your breath from the point of the throat to the point inside the neck inside the golden tube, which corresponds with the vertebra.  After the third breath remain with your breath on the back of the neck just where the chakra is located. Remain here with your awareness and calm breathing until you feel any kind of physical sensation.
  • After that bring your attention on the chest bone. From here make three complete breathings, inhaling from the center of the chest bone  to the parallel point on the spine where the chakra is located. After three breaths remain aware on the point on your back just where your chakra is, with calm breathing until you feel any physical sensation.
  • Move your awareness to your navel area Make three complete breathings back and forth from this point to the parallel point on the spine or the golden tube. After the third breath remain aware on the point on the back where the chakra until physical sensation.
  • After that move your awareness on the pubic bone 2 finger above the genital organ. Make three complete breathings from this point to the parallel point on the spine. After the third breath remain concentrated on the on the back until physical sensation.
  • After that bring your awareness again in the golden tube right on the point where you press against the floor and make three complete breathings from there to the point of the top of the head. After the third breath remain for couple of minutes or longer in this calm state of awareness concentrating on your energy.
