Sarvangasana

Or shoulder stand is an inverted static yoga pose. The list of benefits of this asana is huge. Like all the inverted poses this pose also brings more blood to the brain and head area. It improves the concentration and the mental abilities. It stimulates and regulates the function of the thyroid and parathyroid gland. A lot of yoga teacher give great importance to this asana as asana which rejuvenate the body and keeps it healthy. It is connected with the fifth chakra called Vishudi.
